Thank you

We'd like to thank

  • KHLeuven for providing such a great venue with lots of support and enthousiasm,
  • all sponsors for supporting us and making this FREE event possible,
  • all volunteers who made sure everything ran super smooth,
  • all speakers for their interesting topics and presentations,
  • and of course all visitors for coming over to Leuven this weekend

Reaching the venue by car

Due to traffic works reaching the venue is not obvious.

The easiest way to park your car is:

  • Taking exit 16 on E314 (UZ Leuven Diensten)
  • Follow UZ Leuven
  • Follow Ring Noord
  • Follow "Rode Kruis" Donor center
  • Follow Parking 3 / De Villa - Free parking lots available here.

Charging your electronic devices and free drupal training

The KHL was so kind to provide us with two extra rooms on the third floor: 302 and 318. These rooms are equiped with plenty of power outlets to charge your laptop, phone or other electronic devices.

These rooms will also be used to provide free Drupal training.

On Saturday and Sunday morning there will be free Drupal training from 10:00 till 12:00 in room 302, provided by the people of Dropsolid. This will be an open training, meaning that you can enter at any moment to join.

DrupalCamp Android application

Thanks to the great initiative and work of Leen Van Severen, Kristof De Jaeger and Tim Leytens we are able to announce a DrupalCamp application available for all Android devices!

The application will provide fast access to the practicals, the schedule and give you more information about the speakers.

Wi-Fi access at the venue

The KHLeuven IT department was so kind to add some new Wi-Fi access points all over the area to provide all of our visitors with a Wi-Fi connection as good as possible during the event.

Every registered visitor will receive a personal login code to access the khleuven-wifi-guest network (once connected you will be redirected to a login portal).

Submit your questions for the Drupal 8 Panel

With Kristof "swentel" De Jaeger , Wim Leers and Bram "aspilicious" Goffings we managed to gather three Belgian pioneers of Drupal 8 together for a discussion panel about Drupal 8 on Saturday at 1PM in the Smallfish room.

But of course, a discussion panel is nothing without topics to discuss, so if you have a question or something you want to talk about with three developers who work with Drupal 8 on a daily base, this is your chance!

Schedule announced

Yesterday our great team of volunteers gathered around a whiteboard and a bunch of Post-its to create the schedule of DrupalCamp Leuven. The result can be found on the program page.

We took the uppermost care in composing an interesting program for everybody, offering a session for all ranges of level and interest.

BBQ slots are full

The maximum number of attendees (100) for our BBQ on Saturday has been reached. This means that people who register/edit their preferences now, will be added to a "waiting list" for the BBQ.

Once the event is approaching, we will send all early birds an e-mail to confirm their BBQ spot. Spots that will become available are then opened to the waiting list.

Propose your session now!

You can now submit your session proposals for Drupalcamp Leuven.
We invite you to share your Drupal knowledge with the other attendees by giving a presentation during Drupalcamp. We plan sessions on all levels of knowledge and various topics, so there’s no reason for you to not share those handy modules, nice showcases and interesting ideas with the rest of the Drupal community. Your presentation certainly doesn’t have to be technical.

Check the current proposed sessions!

Only one more sponsor slot available!

Sponsorslots are filling up quite fast, so if you or your company want to support this awesome Drupal event in September, click here to apply.

Currently, these are the remaining slots:
